Looking for Global Emission Factors? Stop!

If you are looking for Global Emissions Factors then stop because there are no such emission factors. First of all, it is important to know that Emission factors depend on several other factors, the most important of them are the type of vehicle and the type and quality of fuel used to run these vehicles. Apart from these, other factors that influence emission factors, are types of roads and driving speeds.  Since, all these factors hugely differ from country to country, therefore the difference in their emission factors is also significant. Hence, it is absurd to use emissions factors of one country for another country.

End of Plastic bags! Here is the bag from waste paper and food.

A new bag in the market replaces plastic with biodegradable fibers from waste paper and food. Plastic bags, because of their non-degradable nature are seen as the biggest enemies of this planet. Plastic bags deserve this reputation and are not just the scapegoats because as a matter of fact, they are made of- polyethelene, a man made polymer which micro-organisms don’t consider as food, therefore, it is hard to say how much time a plastic bag will take to get decomposed. According to an estimate on an average 100 plastic bags per person are used every year.

Considering all the harm plastic bags are doing, the news of making biodegradable bags is seen as Ambrosia in the market. More>>
